Basil is one plant that grows exceedingly well here in my garden. I don’t have a complaint about it at all. Usually we end up with too much. I love this herb on fresh tomato basil pizza (my favorite), and pesto is so great, and I heard we were having tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil salad tonight (another favorite).

But what brought Basil to mind today was Sarah’s incredible ingenious recipe for Blackberry Scones with Cinnamon Basil…FABULOUS!
